1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Tadoro web application (tadoro.com), operated by Felix Hansen, Eichendorffstr. 4, 50858 Köln, Germany. By registering for and using Tadoro, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

Tadoro is a platform supporting family preparedness planning. The application helps families gain an overview of existing documents, insurance, finances, medical information, and property, clarify responsibilities, and identify gaps in preparation.

3. No Legal, Financial, or Medical Advice

Tadoro expressly does not provide legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or any other professional advisory services. The content, checklists, scenarios, and AI-generated conversation guides provided in Tadoro are for informational and organizational purposes only.

Using Tadoro does not replace consulting qualified professionals (lawyers, notaries, financial advisors, doctors). In particular, for creating legally binding documents such as wills, powers of attorney, or advance directives, you should always seek professional counsel.

4. Limitation of Liability

Tadoro assumes no liability for damages arising from the use or non-use of the information provided. This includes in particular:

  • Missing, incomplete, or outdated preparedness documents
  • Decisions made based on information provided by Tadoro
  • Results of AI-generated analyses or conversation guides
  • Technical outages or data loss

Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

5. Data Protection and Security

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the GDPR. Tadoro does not store sensitive documents — the application only records metadata (which document exists, where it is located, who is responsible), not the content of the documents themselves.

6. User Account and Subscription

Registration requires a valid email address. After a free 7-day trial, a one-time payment is required. The annual renewal can be managed at any time via account settings or the Stripe customer portal.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via settings. Deletion is irreversible. We only retain the email address to prevent trial abuse.

8. AI-Generated Content

Tadoro uses AI technology (Claude by Anthropic) for analyzing family situations during onboarding and for creating conversation guides. AI-generated content may contain errors and does not constitute professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on this content.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Cologne, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
